FAQs

Is it safe to get Botox, fillers, or vein treatments/sclerotherapy?

When undertaken by a well-trained medical professional, complications rarely arise. However, all medical treatments entail a certain degree of risk. This will be discussed during your first visit and we will ask for signed consent before any treatment begins.

I’m considering botox or fillers, but am afraid of getting that “big duck lips” look.

At Touch of Eden, Carole focuses only on providing clients with a natural appearance. Our treatments help clients look refreshed and rejuvenated, not completely different people.

Can just about anybody offer these kinds of treatments?

Absolutely not. To offer Botox, fillers and sclerotherapy (vein treatments), one must have a medical background. All treatments are provided by Carole, a former nurse with 26 years spent predominantly in acute care departments. Combined with her medical background, Carole is also a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Injector by Dr Deborah Martin’s Training Centre of Canada. Carole does regular studies in Aesthetic Nursing and frequently attends advanced courses in this field. In addition, she regularly consults with another nurse practitioner regarding her work.

What can I expect during my first appointment?

Before your initial consultation, you will be asked to fill out some forms pertaining to your medical history. Carole will review your history during the first consult, discuss your aesthetic needs, and offer some suggestions for treatments.

Is there a cost for the first consultation?

The initial consultation costs $35. This cost will be put towards Botox or filler treatments you may choose to receive through Touch of Eden.

Is there anything else I should know?

Above all else, Carole is committed to you feeling safe, comfortable, and informed about the treatment decision(s) you make. With Carole, you are sure to receive an abundance of information including how each product affects the body, the specific steps associated with treatments, and how to make the most of your investment through after-care. Most importantly, Carole wants you to know you are in good hands—and your well-being means a great deal to her.
